The Thugs Are Back In Town.

ree

Trumps cabinet meetings are like a meeting of the five families.

Donald Trump is totally tone-deaf to the needs of people who require assistance, demonstrating a complete disconnect between his policies and the realities faced by those made vulnerable by his policies. This lack of awareness, or I would call it loss of consciousness, can be seen in various aspects of his administration's approach to social welfare programs, healthcare, and economic support systems.

Many individuals who rely on government assistance, such as food stamps, Medicaid, and unemployment benefits, have often found themselves at the mercy of budget cuts and policy changes that prioritize tax breaks for the wealthy over the needs of the lower-income demographic. This is happening while those who are Trumps minions live in the lap of luxury in many cases provided by, that's right, you and me, the tax payers. Is anyone other than me seeing the paradox here?

Trump's rhetoric frequently dismisses the struggles of individuals who are doing without or will fail to receive, framing their challenges in a manner that undermines their dignity and resilience. This tone-deafness not only alienates those in need but also reflects a broader issue where the voices of marginalized communities are often overlooked in political talk.

Many people who supported Trump are beginning to feel that their concerns are not being adequately addressed. They are becoming more frustrated with a sense of helplessness and abandonment.

This sentiment is becoming more pronounced among his base, who initially rallied behind him with the hope that he would champion their interests and bring about changes. As time passed, many of his supporters have expressed frustration and disappointment, believing that their voices are not being heard.

It has not been a year and already the ship of tyranny has holes in it. Now we see Trump and his posse of enforcers trying to use brute force to push the nation into compliance.

The growing frustration stems from a variety of factors. Many supporters are increasingly concerned about the state of the economy, particularly in the wake of inflation and rising costs of living. They had expected policies that would bolster job growth and stabilize prices, yet many now feel that these have not been addressed.

Also, there are worries about immigration policies. Supporters expected stricter measures to secure the borders and manage immigration effectively. Now, the lack of progress in some of these areas and the methods being taken to enforce some policies has contributed to a sense of vulnerability among his supporters, who now feel abandoned by their leader.

There is becoming a sense that Trump is all show and no go. Everything has been for effect and no end game plan was actually in place.

Unfortunately, many supporters of Donald Trump will continue to attribute the blame for the government shutdown to the Democrats. Deep-seated political biases, media influence, and the narratives that align with their beliefs influence his supporters to feel compelled to defend their party and its leaders, often overlooking some realities.

As a result, they adopt a simplistic view that places the responsibility on the opposing party rather than examining the actions made by their own representatives. This mind set not only perpetuates division but also hampers any constructive talk about the issues that led to the shutdown in the first place. Ultimately, this blame-shifting behavior and partisan loyalty polarizes the political environment.

In addition to economic and immigration concerns, there are also social issues that trouble Trump supporters. Some are upset by the cultural shifts they see in society, which they feel do not align with their values. Trump can be seen using his typical bag of tricks to assuage their fears. Racial and cultural dog whistles give them an immediate gratification, but does not answer the larger issue. They are beginning to see that failure.

America has always been a racially divided country and Trump is finding out the difficulty in navigating that minefield of differences. As a result, there is a sense of urgency among many Trump supporters to see their concerns addressed more directly.

Some see it and some do not. The absurdity of Trump and his cadre of overpaid grovelers living in the lap of luxury and without remorse or embarrassment feasting while their voters are at the door of poverty.

Why do they not see it? I don't know. I have asked some that question and unbelievably they cannot provide and answer to their own behavior.

Sometimes you cannot fix broken things.

Think about it and be sure to VOTE!
