Remember. What Goes Around!

Comes around!

Donald Trump may think he is acting independent and without accountability much the same way a dictator and autocrat would behave. But there is one looming large caveat. All of these things can be done or undone by an adversary. He may be opening a pandoras box.

All it will take is one challenger with the courage and resolve to throw civility out the window and like Trump, act like a thug for the opposing viewpoints and be the "Undoer-in-chief."

That is to say everything that Trump is doing can be duplicated or undone in a Democratic Administration, which highlights the inherent flexibility and adaptability of the U.S. political system. The policies and executive actions implemented during his tenure, whether they pertain to immigration, healthcare, environmental regulations, or foreign relations, are not set in stone.

A future Democratic administration has the power to reverse or modify these initiatives through various means, including executive orders, legislative measures, and regulatory changes.

For instance, many of the immigration policies enacted under Trump could be rescinded or replaced with more progressive approaches aimed at fostering inclusivity and protecting vulnerable populations. Similarly, environmental policies that prioritize deregulation and fossil fuel development could be overturned in favor of initiatives that focus on combating climate change, promoting renewable energy, and protecting natural resources.

Moreover, the legislative process allows a Democratic Congress to introduce new laws that could effectively counteract Trump's policies. This could involve repealing tax cuts that disproportionately benefit the wealthy or implementing comprehensive healthcare reforms that aim to expand access and affordability for all Americans.

In addition to the legislative and executive avenues available, public sentiment and advocacy play a crucial role in shaping policy direction. A Democratic administration could harness public opinion to push for significant changes, reflecting the values and priorities of a more diverse electorate.

Ultimately, because our form of government is so dynamic, the actions taken by one administration can be challenged and altered by the next. This underscores the importance of elections and the ongoing dialogue within the democratic process. This form of policy-making ensures that the country can pivot in response to the aspirations and needs of its citizens, regardless of the prevailing political climate.

It also emphasizes the importance of not allowing Trump and his cronies to delegitimize the election process. He knows and they all know their power is a transitory moment in history. That is why they are so anxious to change the look of our government so that what they are doing has the appearance of normal.

It isn't normal and as it is said by some in the know. Karma can be a bitch!
