MAGA Is Done and Leaving Town

MAGA is done and any Republicans that are hanging on to the idea that Trump is still relevant should get on the bus going out of town. Any media source you watch, read or listen to is saying it in words that even the remaining Trump racists and bigots can understand.

People are ready for some good old normal behavior and not what this president has been giving us. Now, to be sure there are still those who actually like this guy. I will say it again; their problem is deeper than political. They have some real personal issues. They know what they really believe and I think we all know where their principles lie. The 50's and 60's are alive and well because of some remaining cultural training and we can't fix that today.

But for those of us who are ready to turn on the news and not see and hear people that speak in unintelligible word salads, we are ready to move on to another phase. Personally, I want Democrats to win during this mid-term so we can put a stop to Trumps activities and give the Republicans the chance to find some actual professional politicians for the general election. I would like to see Republicans return those who have a real education and experience in political science. We don't need any more politicians, Democrats or Republicans who base their plans and platforms on ridiculous unachievable ideas and party dogma.

Donald Trump has bounded from one crazy idea to the next. The only thing he cares about is being on television so he can see himself. He is not a businessman. He is a grifter, a carnival barker, and he definitely is not a statesman. The professional politicians we knew as statesmen went out the window when social media took control. Now all we see are personalities with no real depth and lack the skills or knowledge to be in government.

We, and I use that term loosely, elect them again and again because they are just there and if they have been in government all those years, they must be experienced. Right? Wrong! They may have been idiots from the beginning. The peter principle is a real thing.

Is Donald Trump losing his grip on reality? Mentally is what I am talking about. What you are seeing is the real Donald Trump and it has manifested itself for all to see. He has always been this way. The difference we are seeing is he has no reason to conceal anything. He actually doesn't care what anyone thinks now. This is a true autocrat. He knows he cannot wring anymore out of America and he has positioned his family for future wealth.

Some of the wise and proactive Republicans who can smell trouble ahead are positioning themselves and staying upwind of Trump. His smell is becoming so repugnant; if it gets on you it is difficult to wash off. The polls are unwinding and almost any program he has tried to take credit for is a loser.

His appointees are being revealed for the actual cronies they are. Their inexperience and egocentric behavior are showing that their loyalty is to Trump and not the American people. When the leaders in important positions cannot carry on an honest conversation with question and answers but can only resort to aggressive behavior and non-answers, such as Scott Bessent, Kash Patel, Pam Bondi and Kristi Noem, there is the obvious. They are over their heads and should not be those positions.

But this is and always has been Trumps method of management. He puts people under him who are thrilled to be in power positions they would never be in otherwise, so he can beat them over the head constantly.

With the poll numbers cratering his Republican congressional supporters are crying uncle and running out the MAGA door. In other words, the MAGA clowns are on the run and maybe we can all relax and take a break. Maybe.
