Is Everyone Happy Now?

This mini-me juvenile delinquent managed to disable the whole country until he had his way.

And for what?

I know what everyone is saying and thinking. The Democrats did it. They held up the funding bill because they wanted free health care for illegals, aliens, Martian’s, venetians, and all non-western European, non-English speaking critters.

The only people who DO NOT believe that are those who don't like Kool-Aid and especially grape Kool-Aid. How do I know that? Because I watch RA Voice and NewsMax2. Those people are wired differently.

The bottom-line question is this.

Why did the democrats hold up the funding bill? There were many, many things in the bill, but the one item in it that everyone agreed was the road block was the continuation of the extended health care tax credits. It was initially extended through 2025 and was set to expire on December 3, 2025. Without that continuation, health insurance premiums would increase substantially for some. Mostly the elderly and those living at poverty levels.

Now. Is the program abused by some? Probably. All government programs are abused. But not extending the program so that healthcare could still be provided to those that really need it is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Does the program cost too much? Yes. But it is not the consumer who is the cost. They are just the victim. The health care industry is a mess and nobody wants to address it. It's all about money and power. Why does the United States rank low in access to health care and cost? Go ask countries around the world how they succeed?

Do you think health care industry lobbyists are going to permit that? NO!

Why didn't the Republicans agree to a continuation of the credits through 2026 and try to actually work on the cost of healthcare. Instead, they kick the problem down the road and cower to the healthcare industry lobby. Why? Fear and money.

Here is elitist, privileged, fulfilled, deniers telling those who are asking for crumbs from their table of plenty. Go get another job. Or, go get a better job.

After all. "We made America Great Again!"

If you haven't got it by now, what they want is the power of denial. This is coming from Trump's minions who live in his back pocket. Excuse me, but America has always been great and stop turning the knobs on the stove as my grandmother used to say.

This will not go away and it will be back this January, and we can watch the battle again.

The whole spectacle is becoming serious.
