Blame The Democratic Party! Why not?

Updated: Feb 12

I think we were told what to expect if and when Trump became President. Nobody should be surprised at what is happening. I have been patient and waited to see how all of the everyday craziness will play out. But more than that I have wanted to find someone to blame.

I have decided to blame the Democratic Party. Who else can you blame? You can’t blame half of the voters who voted for Trump and gave him what he perceives as a mandate to do all of the things he promised. He really believes that is all he needs. He thinks that those votes were tacit approval to take off on a mostly whimsical journey of dismantling something that may be need some repairs rather than junking.

Trump acts like he is going to take a decent car that needs a tune-up, some new tires and a paint job and turn it into a low rider. I’m ok with that as long as there is still room for everyone to sit. In some of the cases it looks like he is going to junk the car and some of us are going to walk or take the bus.

The fact is that when Trump was campaigning, he had no idea he was going to win. It was the same on his first campaign. Winning was a total surprise and his end game plan was, there is no plan. There never was.

He never debated, consequently he was never forced to present a plan for anything. When he talked to reporters, he always spoke in abstract meandering responses. It became so normal for him that even when he gave bizarre solutions and no one questioned the solutions as was the case with his sycophant media minions when they agreed with and supported him unwavering, he was almost euphoric and came up with more goofy ideas.

It became more and more obvious to powerful people, power meaning wealth and influence, that this man could be the keys to the kingdom. All he would need is a few atta boys and slaps on the back with the words of encouragement of being right and the world is and always has been wrong. And with that encouragement pour a few hundred million dollars in the coffers and present your backing and influence to the public. After all the public sees these powerful and wealthy people as successful and surely they must have our interests at heart. Right?

Donald Trump never had an original idea in his life. He is and always has been a grifter living off other people’s ideas and money. All he has done is have an idea and tossing it out to see if it sticks. It’s like the old saying, run it up the flag pole and see if anyone salutes. And as it turns out half of the country is saluting every idea this guy is coming up with. Trump looks at that and says, it must be a winner. Never mind he has no idea how he is going to implement it or what is the end game.

In the meantime, those powerful people he thinks he is in command of are rubbing their hands together and making celebratory high fives at their good fortune of having this vain foolish man as their protector while they wander around their new kingdom. Will this be what exposes Trump as a phony businessman? Will this be his Waterloo. It depends on how far his group of successful businessmen allow it to go.

What Trump is doing has never been done in this country. It has been done many times in Europe and South America. We will see how mad the American people were to elect an autocrat to lead them and will they accept it as the normal way we will have our government, or will they wake up too late and realized they can’t unwind the clown toy they turned loose on the living room floor.

What does this have to do with the Democratic party? Well, everything. This is two party system. And if one party loses and the other party wins, then one party really jacked things up. What did the democrats do wrong? Plenty.

That will be another article. But the first thing they can do is take Chuck Schumer and get his eyes fixed so he doesn’t need those ridiculous goofy looking glasses or get rid of him. Preferably the latter. And tell Hakeem Jeffries to put his big boy pants on, the ones that have room for big balls, or get rid of him. Preferably the latter. They are playing in a sandbox where the other guys don’t wear knickerbockers and waistcoats. They are wearing jeans and a t-shirt with one sleeve rolled up and a pack of Camels in it.

Do I have more to say? Yep.
